South Korea - Administrative Notice on the Partial Revision of the Technical Standards for Aeronautical Radio Equipment

​The National Radio Research Agency of South Korea (RRA) has announced a draft revision to the Technical Standards for Aeronautical Radio Equipment to inform the public and gather opinions. 

This revision aims to address the growing demand for air traffic and improve the efficiency of airport traffic management. To achieve this, the RRA seeks to partially revise the technical standards by introducing new provisions for AeroMACS (Aeronautical Mobile Airport Communication System) based on international standards.

- Article 3, Paragraph 1, Clause 28: A new provision defining AeroMACS is added.

- Article 23: A new provision outlining the technical standards for AeroMACS is introduced.
