Indonesia - MOCD Implementation Regulation No. 9/2026 Concerning the Governance of Electronic Systems in Child Protection

​The Indonesia Ministry of Communication and Digital (“MOCD”) has issued the Implementing Regulation of Government Regulation No. 17 of 2025 on the Governance of Electronic Systems in Child Protection (“MOCD Regulation No. 9/2026”). This regulation further elabor​ates the provisions under Regulation No. 17 of 2025, particularly regarding the obligations of Electronic System Providers (“ESPs”) in ensuring the protection of child users in their products, services, and features.
